It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for a final review by qualified Tanzanian counsel before publication. Items shown in square brackets need to be completed by the operator.

By accessing or using this website you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. Information on the site

Itinerary descriptions, prices, photographs, journal articles and wildlife information on this site are published in good faith for general guidance only. Park boundaries, road conditions, wildlife movements, lodge availability and government fees change frequently. Final itinerary terms, inclusions and prices are confirmed in your written booking documents.

4. Prices and currency

Indicative prices are shown in US Dollars (USD) per person sharing, unless stated otherwise. They exclude international flights, Tanzania visa fees, travel insurance, tips, items of a personal nature, and any taxes or fees introduced by the Government of Tanzania or park authorities after publication. Final prices are quoted at the time of booking.

5. Photography, video and intellectual property

All photographs, video clips, text, logos and graphic design on this site are the exclusive property of Lion Whisper Safaris Ltd, or are used under licence from the original photographer with their written permission. They are protected under the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act, Cap. 218 of Tanzania and equivalent international copyright treaties (including the Berne Convention).

You may not, without our prior written consent:

  • download, copy, reproduce, mirror, republish or redistribute any image or video clip from this site;
  • use any photograph or clip on another website, social-media account, presentation, brochure, advertisement, editorial article or print product;
  • use our content to train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine-learning or generative-AI model, or include it in any AI dataset;
  • remove, alter or obscure any watermark, credit line or metadata; or
  • create derivative works (including AI-generated variants, composites, or stock-style edits).

You may share individual page links for personal, non-commercial purposes with a clear credit to "Lion Whisper Safaris" and a link back to this site. Press, travel-trade and educational requests are welcome — please email hello@lionwhispersafaris.com and we will usually grant a free, attributed licence for legitimate editorial use.

Unauthorised use is an infringement of copyright. We monitor unauthorised re-use of our imagery and will pursue licence fees, take-down requests and, where appropriate, legal action under Tanzanian law and the law of the country in which the infringement occurs.

6. User-submitted content

If you send us photos, reviews or other content (for example through our planning form or by email), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content to operate and promote our safaris, with attribution where reasonable. You confirm the content is yours to share and does not infringe anyone else's rights.

7. Third-party links

We may link to lodges, airlines, park authorities, payment providers or articles operated by third parties. We have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content, security or privacy practices.

8. Limitation of liability for website use

To the maximum extent permitted by Tanzanian law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of this website, including loss caused by inaccuracies in published content, site downtime, or third-party links. This clause does not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Tanzanian law. Liability arising from a booked safari is governed by our Booking Conditions, not by this clause.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. The courts of Arusha have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from your use of this website, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the "Last updated" date above.
